"Christmastime in Torrington" is an initiative started by a group of local residents with the assistance of the Mayor of Torrington, Torrington Parks & Recreation, the Torrington Historical and local merchants to celebrate all the wonderful things that Torrington has to offer during the holiday season.
Some of the highlights include additional lights and decorations in downtown plus a marketing effort; like this website, to reinforce and inform the public of what's going on from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day.
